What's the difference between Surface Bonder SSA and Surface Bonder ZERO?
While both of these products are designed for seamless colour matching on a multitude of surfaces, each have properties that make them more suitable for certain materials.
Surface Bonder SSA (or Solid Surface Adhesive) was developed with Solid Surface fabrication and installation in mind. Its unique formula was designed to bond with acrylic resins, and match the refractive index allowing for seamless colour matches.
Surface Bonder ZERO and Surface Bonder Rapid were designed for use on hard surfaces. Their formulas allow them to penetrate into porous surfaces and using their high shear strength they can bite onto microscopic ridges and perforations in the material to further increase their mechanical bond strength.
What surfaces should I use Surface Bonder ZERO on?
Surface Bonder Zero was developed for use with Engineered Stone like Quartz and Silica-Free Mineral surfaces, Natural Stones like Granite and Marble, as well as Ceramics, Porcelain and Sintered Materials.

Is Surface Bonder Zero difficult to dispense?
Surface Bonder ZERO is a non-sagging adhesive and you might think that means it’s very thick and hard to dispense and tool. However, getting the product through the mixing tip is very easy. Surface Bonder ZERO has a very low viscosity, it is only after mixing that the product immediately thickens and stays right where you put it. This ensures ease of use and minimises fatigue.
Does Surface Bonder ZERO have a strong odour?
Surface Bonder ZERO and all our MMA products feature a distinct odour but are low in VOC emissions, free of styrene, and GREENGUARD Certified, making them suitable for even the most sensitive environments, including schools and hospitals.

Surface Bonder ZERO is a non sagging adhesive specifically designed for Quartz, Compact Sintered Materials and Natural Stone products. Its non-sag properties make it ideal for mitered edges, the adhesive stays right where you put it. Surface Bonder ZERO is also great for vertical applications making it an ideal adhesive for deck seam installations in the field, waterfall edges, shower panels and more. No drips, no mess.
Surface Bonder ZERO comes packaged in our 250ml 10:1 cartidges and is compatible with the standard Integra Adhesives 250ml dispenser, as well as any other 250ml dispensers of your choice. Surface Bonder ZERO is currently offered in 70 colors, matching the most popular Quartz, Compact Sintered Materials and Stone designs in the industry. There is also a wide range of true whites available for all the trending white Quartz and Natural Stone slabs.
